Lambrides is composed of several talented partners and professional staff dedicated to our clients. Our partners and senior staff include the following:
Stephen D. Lamos, MBA, CPA
Steve, a partner with Lambrides, has been with the firm since 1966. He has his master's degree in accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College where he wrote a master's thesis pertaining to the operational efficiency of not-for-profit organizations. Steve is responsible for the technological services division of the firm. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York and New Jersey Societies of Certified Public Accountants. He is an active board member of several substantial not-for-profit organizations.
Robert H. Taylor, MBA, CPA
Rob is a partner and has been with the firm since 1980. While most of his over 30 years of cumulative business and accounting experience has been with not-for-profit organizations, he also has significant experience advising business corporations and partnerships.
Rob has led seminars for various accounting organizations, college business officers, and trade organizations, and has had experience in the business management of a not-for-profit organization. He currently serves as a board member of a local and an international not-for-profit organization.
Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Rob is a member of the not-for-profit organization committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants
Leslie J. Nieskens, CPA
Leslie is a partner with the firm and has been with Lambrides more than 15 years. She has over twenty seven years business experience including both public accounting (seven years experience with a Big Four international accounting firm prior to leaving as a tax a manager) and private industry. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Leslie specializes in the field of taxation, providing consulting, tax preparation and tax planning and research services primarily to non-profit organizations, small businesses, and individuals. In serving non-profit organizations, she has extensive experience in areas such as taxation of clergy, tax exempt status requirements and tax effects of unrelated business income.
Valerie T. Jones, CPA
Valerie has over fifteen years of combined business and accounting experience. She has been with Lambrides for six years and functions as an audit manager assisting in the coordination of audit scheduling and financial statement review. Valerie has experience in church fiscal management, having served on finance and budget committees and handled the finances for local church congregations in the capacity of Treasurer and Financial Secretary.
