Lambrides was established over 80 years ago with its mission to provide quality accounting, auditing and advisory services to not-for-profit organizations for reasonable fees. Our practice is primarily independent certified audits of not-for-profit organizations, with a significant tax and consulting practice. We service clients throughout the nation. The audits are performed for organizations ranging in size up to $160 million per year in revenues. Some of the organizations have significant deferred giving programs (gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, and charitable remainder annuities). The firm provides audit and advisory services for a number of clients that have substantial endowment portfolios ranging up to $140 million.Over 90% of our audit practice is related to the nonprofit industry. Lambrides is affiliated with twenty firms throughout the country who specialize in providing accounting and consulting services for not-for-profit organizations. Lambrides maintains a library with a substantial investment in resources relevant to not-for-profit organizations. We subscribe to various newsletters including Organization Law and Tax Report, Nonprofit Alert and Chronicle of Philanthropy. We maintain working relationships with law firms that have a significant practice with not-for-profit organizations. Lambrides is a partnership with extensive experience working with not-for-profit organizations. All partners and staff participate in seminars addressing the accounting, auditing, tax and management issues that are important to not-for-profit organizations. Lambrides is fortunate to have a dedicated, stable staff for serving clients. Among our strengths are a “user-friendly” approach to accounting and advisory services and continuity in staff assigned to client engagements. Engagement partners are actively involved in supervision of audit engagements to provide a comprehensive approach and to avoid client frustration with absentee partners. All staff members have significant experience working with accounting and auditing issues of not-for-profit organizations. Lambrides has invested many years in the not-for-profit field resulting in a comprehensive understanding of accounting, audit and tax issues and the effective utilization of computer software. We have experience with MAS 90, Blackbaud, Executive Data Systems, Intuit FundWare, MIP Fund Accounting, Fund E-Z, QuickBooks and various other programs.
